You Choose the Photos—I Print Them on Fabric!

This is where I hope I can make your quilting life a little easier.

You don’t have to figure out how to print your own photographs onto fabric.

You don’t have to buy special fabric.

You don’t have to cut a bunch of tiny squares and hope your pictures end up centered.

You choose the photos. I print them onto fabric. You get to do the fun part—quilting!

Your photos are printed onto 100% polyester poplin, and the printing becomes part of the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. The fabric also comes with fusible interfacing already attached to the back.

And Yes…You Can Use Your Own Photos!

One of my favorite things about Photo Quilt Blocks is that your quilt can be completely personal.

This isn’t fabric from a bolt that someone else designed.

These are YOUR memories.

You can use pictures from your phone, computer, old family photos that have been scanned, or photographs you’ve restored and edited.

And don’t worry if your pictures aren’t perfectly square!

The photo editor lets you adjust your photos so you can decide what part of the picture you want to feature before it is printed.

A Little Tip for Choosing 24 Photos

When you’re choosing photographs for the 2″ blocks, don’t feel like every picture needs to be a perfect portrait.

In fact, I think some of the best quilts include a mixture of photos.

For example, if you’re making a family quilt, you might include a picture of Grandma, the family dog, the old family home, a favorite vacation spot, a birthday celebration, and those goofy everyday pictures that make you smile.

When they’re all together, they tell a much bigger story.
