25th Wedding Anniversary Photo Quilt – Customer Quilt Spotlight

Some quilts tell a story. This one tells an entire adventure. ❤️

When Kathy contacted me about creating Photo Quilt Blocks for a very special quilt, we knew the photos had to be just right. This wasn’t simply a collection of pictures—it was a celebration of 25 years of marriage, adventures, laughter, and memories shared together.

We spent quite a bit of time working on the photos before they were printed. Some of the original pictures weren’t quite clear enough, so we searched for better versions and swapped out a few photos. We also did some editing to make sure each image would look its best when printed on fabric.

And honestly, I loved working on this part!

There is something really special about taking someone’s favorite photographs and helping turn them into something they can enjoy for years to come. Kathy didn’t just give her husband a quilt for their 25th anniversary… she gave him 25 years of memories. ❤️

The finished quilt was made by Marlene Price of Sundance, Wyoming, who did an absolutely beautiful job bringing all those Photo Quilt Blocks together.

The front of the quilt features photographs from their adventures together, surrounded by beautiful red, charcoal, and neutral fabrics. The photos aren’t arranged in a traditional grid, which gives the quilt a fun, almost scrapbook-like feel. The blocks were in the shape of a heart, which really captured the heart behind this memory quilt.

And then there is the back of the quilt…

That is where the real love story comes through.

A beautiful photo of the couple takes center stage, surrounded by meaningful words and phrases:

“You are my soulmate.”
“You are the reason I smile.”
“You are the best thing that ever happened to me.”
“All because two people fell in love.”

It makes the quilt feel like more than a memory quilt. It feels like a love letter sewn into fabric.

And that is exactly why I love what I do.

I don’t just print photographs on fabric. I get to be a tiny part of the process of turning someone’s memories into something tangible—a quilt that can be wrapped around you, displayed on a bed, passed down to family, and enjoyed for years to come.

This 25th anniversary quilt was such a fun project, and Kathy was wonderful to work with! We had lots of fun getting the photos just right, and I absolutely love seeing how beautifully she and Marlene turned those Photo Quilt Blocks into a finished quilt.

Happy 25th Anniversary—and here’s to many more adventures together!
